 Internal Sales Executive | Flexible Packaging | Northamptonshire | Salary to attract the best  


 Independently owned and operating from a purpose built site, this is a multi-million pound flexible packaging specialist with several major UK customers and all the major supermarket chains considered key clients.  Aligning their business to the flexible packaging needs of the Food industry they produce innovative solutions, provide world-class customer service and support and are at the leading edge of flexible packaging technical development.


 As Internal Sales Executive you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining business relations with customers in the UK region
  • Delivering new business sales and existing account development
  • Inputting orders and maintaining sales records
  • Selling a full range of flexible products ranging from mono web films, multi layer laminates, coated materials, form fill seal, pouches and lidding films
  • Providing an annual sales plan and quarterly updates, revisions and modifications to the plan
  • Coordinating with European plants and customers on a daily basis, ensuring that communication and flow of information is consistent
  • Developing future growth of the company’s customer base

 


 Key attributes required:

  • Solid track record in the industry with an understanding of flexible packaging
  • Good technical knowledge of lamination structures, barrier properties and specifications for food packaging, ideally
  • Strong and consistent experience developing customers in the UK market
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Consultative approach to sales with the ability to offer technical solutions to client’s requirements with extreme confidence
  • Strong project management skills
