JUNIOR PRODUCTION OPERATOR

SURREY

Up To £25K + Overtime (Time ½) + 9% Pension + Free Health Care

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday - 8:00am To 5:00pm

Holidays: 20 Days + 1 extra day each year up to 25 Days

My client is a leading large format digital and graphics company based in Surrey. The company specialise in signing, producing and installing large format graphics, displays and signage packages for many markets including Retail, Commercial Interiors, Events and Exhibition and into the public sector.

Due to high work volumes, they are currently looking to recruit a Junior Production Operative to join their existing team. The ideal candidate will have 2 years previous experience in the industry.

Responsibilities / Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will have a 2 years Large format / signage experience - however training can be given on the machinery used
• Running of roll to roll machines, Laminators, Hand Finishing and then DTM AFGA, Hyrbrid and 3x2M cutter, laser cutter and quality checking of jobs to go out.
• Vinyl cutting and routing
• Laminating, mounting and laying up of vinyl's to various substrates
• Basic knowledge of RIPs
• Be well presented for work and always conduct yourself in a professional and responsible
• manner
• To be organised with the ability to work on own initiative
• Flexible and willing to work overtime when required
• Responsible for general cleanliness of the presses and the surrounding area as a part of the daily routine
• Comply with all health & safety policies and procedures always adopted by the company
• Working with 2 senior production operators.
