KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER - DRINKS PACKAGING SECTOR

Location: North of England or Scotland

Competitive salary up to £50,000 per annum + Performance-based bonus + Company car or car allowance + Pension scheme + Opportunities for professional growth and development.

Our Client is a prominent player in the drinks packaging sector, recognised for delivering cutting edge and eco-conscious packaging solutions. They are currently seeking an experienced and driven Key Account Manager to join the team, focusing on clients based in the North of England & Scotland.

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts within the drinks packaging sector. This role demands a strategic thinker with excellent relationship-building skills and a deep understanding of the packaging needs of the drinks industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring exceptional service.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to grow business within existing accounts and through new client acquisition.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored packaging solutions that meet client specifications.
  • Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales to achieve revenue targets.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to provide insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Ensure timely and effective resolution of client issues and concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar role within the packaging or drinks industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
