FINISHER / INSTALLER - LARGE FORMAT DIGITAL

Our client is a large format digital company based in London, they are currently looking for a Finisher / Installer to finish and install high quality large format prints using a variety of machines and substrates. Time split will be 80% in house finishing and 20% installation.

Responsibilities / Requirements:

• To prepare, mount and laminate large format graphics
• To finish a variety of materials, i.e., large format prints and vinyl and signage for a range of different projects from retail, events, sets and exhibitions etc.
• To ensure jobs are packed correctly for despatch
• To load and unload company vehicles
• To operate Vinyl Plotters
• Work to Company & client and site Health and Safety procedures
• To carefully prepare the area before fitting graphics
• To fit vinyl's onsite at client locations
• To ensure all works are signed off by the client and liaise with clients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring clients are happy with the signage
• To undertake quality control of finished items to ensure they meet standards and to report any issues to management
• Experience in managing projects from manufacturing to finishing, to installation of large format prints and vinyl and signage for a range of different projects from retail, events, sets and exhibitions
• Experience in using CNC machine, mounting, laminating, guillotine, laser cutter

The ideal candidate:

• Well-presented, friendly, hardworking and able to communicate highly effectively in English in both verbal and written communications
• Knowledge of substrates including vinyl, Foamex, foamboard, Dibond, banner, wallpaper, acrylic, paper and card
• A highly effective person with strong planning and organisational skills
• Competent going around to different sites either as part of a team or working on own initiative
• Ability to work and liaise with people from 'all walks of life'
• A proactive approach to problem solving and able to work on own initiative and common sense to resolve issues
• Able to multi-task effectively switching between the different functions of this role and work under pressure to meet deadlines, able to prioritise and multitask effectively
• A completer finisher with attention to detail who is dependable and gets the job done
• Full UK clean driving licence
