WE ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR A NUMBER OF PRODUCTION OPERATIVE/MACHINE OPERATOR POSITIONS AT OUR CROSS GATES, LEEDS SITE.


With  competitive salary and a variety of shift options, we have permanent roles requiring various levels of skills available, in a clean and professional printing plant.

We have world-class specialist production and sourcing capabilities that can revolutionise our customer's supply chain and produce communications whether they contain a marketing, compliance or customer service message in the form of a statement, e-mail, invoice, direct mailing or bill.


THE FOLLOWING ROLES ARE AVAILABLE


You will be responsible for achieving production targets with respect to on time delivery, quality standards and cost targets

 

Enclosing operative

Operating BlueCrest enclosing machines

Experience with or similar experience  desired and mail Room, mail sorting and paper handling experience preferred

 

 

Laser Personalisation

Operating Xerox and Chektech machines

Experience with or similar experience desired

 

Print Finisher 

Operating Beils Stitching, Guillotining and Folding/Perforation.

Experience with or similar exprience and Print Finishing Qualification would be desired

 

 

 

 

These roles are available to start immediately and in the coming months. Suitable training will be provided (travel to our Crewe site may be required during this period, with expense covered).


WHAT YOU’LL BRING


To be successful in these roles, you will have proven experience of manufacturing practices and be willing to participate in all aspects of manufacturing around the business. You will be flexible and demonstrate a level of personal pride in your activities.

 

You must be capable of operating machinery safely, at optimum speed to achieve production and quality targets.  Ability to be aware of any problems that may occur and be able to deal with them effectively and efficiently is a must.  Good organisational and communicational skills will also be essential.  Being able to make decisions, be self-motivated and enthusiastic are all pre-requisites of this position


SHIFT OPTIONS


  • Double Days (0600-1330/1330-2100hrs)
  • 3 shift  (0600-13.30/1330-21.00/21.00-0600hrs)
