MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

LANARKSHIRE

Up to £40K (Depending on Experience) + Pension + 23 days holiday

Hours: 40 Hours - DAYS

Our client is a large, independent manufacturer of bespoke corrugated cardboard packaging, supplying FCMG and Engineering markets. Our client is looking to recruit an Engineer to join their business. The role a mechanical bias with basic electrical competencies preferred.

Our client will consider any background however experience in maintaining Corrugated Packaging machinery, particularly flexo print equipment would be an advantage.

Reporting to the site manager the main purpose of the role is to look after repairs, contractors & preventative maintenance, mechanical and electrical.

Responsibilities / Requirements:

• Respond immediately to machinery breakdowns, with the aim to get the equipment up and running is the quickest time possible
• Minimise downtime by forward planning to ensure all materials are available well in advance
• Ensure Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements are met
• Making repairs to corrugated machinery
• Mechanical, Maintenance / Electrical Engineering experience)
• Take action to address issues and provide support as required
• Experience working with Corrugated Machinery would be of an advantage but not essential
