MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

SCOTLAND

Salary £OPEN (Dependant on Experience) + 28 Days Holiday

Days - 40hrs per week

Our client is a well-established corrugated packaging manufacturer based in Scotland. They provide their clients with corrugated packaging, in-house design services and storage solutions.

They are looking to recruit an experience Maintenance Supervisor to manage and develop their Maintenance Supervisor Team. You will be maintaining the maintenance programme effectively and efficiently to meet the company's KPIs and targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all health and safety regulations and practices on site
  • Introduce effective system to manage and prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work as per forecasted workload
  • Manage maintenance hours to meet Preventative Maintenance Program with minimal impact on production schedule
  • Oversee all unplanned maintenance to ensure completion and effective and safe handover to Operations
  • Ensure all third-party safety inspection requirements are completed within the legal timeframe
  • Meet business KPI's for adherence to Preventative Maintenance Programme, machinery uptime and spares availability
  • Work and engage closely with other departments
  • Daily communication and feedback with Head of Operations
  • Participation and input into company- wide continuous improvement projects
  • Identify areas for improved efficiency and initiate projects and interventions

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Supervisory position
  • Completed 18th Edition electrical and wiring regulations examination
  • Qualified minimum HND Mechanical and Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional certification
  • Demonstrable experience in a busy manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety Management and regulations. (IOSH Managing Safely - minimum requirement)
  • Provide consistent, dynamic positive leadership to develop team and department activities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
