MARKETING EXECUTIVE - PRINT & DIRECT MAIL

About the role
The Marketing division has a broad set of responsibilities and acts as an internal agency, supporting programmes of work across our group of businesses. The role offers the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of brand, marketing, communications, and design. You will be joining at a critical time when you can play a role in supporting and shaping the marketing activity, as well as developing your skills and experience as part of a growing business.

Working Hours
Working hours will be Monday - Friday 09:00 to 17:30. However, the successful candidate is expected to be co-operative in working longer hours from time to time, according to the needs of the business.

Who they are looking for
The role will require a can-do attitude to getting work done, the ability to multi-task, prioritise and time plan effectively, and experience and understanding of what it takes to deliver a wide-ranging programme of activity. As an important conduit to both internal and external stakeholders, the ability to build effective relationships will be key. Excellent planning, attention to detail, copywriting and digital marketing skills and a focus on exacting standards of delivery are all essential. You must be able to react quickly to changing circumstances, both using your initiative and taking direction as required.

Key Tasks and Objectives

  • The role will report directly to the Senior Marketing Manager and will work closely and collaboratively with the wider team and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting the overall marketing strategy, including analysis and the reporting and management of ongoing tasks and requests.
  • Supporting and driving the effective implementation of the brand across multiple platforms, touchpoints, and requirements, ensuring assets are used in the right way internally and externally, and supporting the team and stakeholders where required
  • Participation in the development and execution of campaign and marketing plans aligned with our long-term strategy, aiming to boost leads and revenue for our sales teams.
  • Generating compelling copy and producing effective marketing and sales collateral (email templates, presentations, guidelines, research reports, case studies, blogs, and photography etc.) to support new business initiatives.
  • Evaluating and reporting on the success of marketing campaigns, conducting ROI analysis on all marketing activities, and adjusting strategies accordingly.
  • Maintaining a calendar of potential awards and supporting on awards entries.
  • Fostering a collaborative working environment across the organisation, promoting a unified team culture.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Marketing Role
  • Experience working within a small high-performing team, working flexibly and proactively to deliver across a host of requirements
  • Solid understanding and awareness of brand management
  • Excellent command of written English and creative copywriting / copy editing skills.
  • Experience in the creation of multimedia content and / or digital marketing, and successfully overseeing projects from inception to delivery.
  • Proficiency in a Marketing & Sales CRM (preferably HubSpot), especially campaigns, sequences, workflows, and reports.

Desirable criteria

  • Bachelor's degree or CIM Marketing Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Experience using CMS systems to manage website content.
  • Experience of creating and delivering offline and printed campaigns and marketing collateral
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) or equivalent would be an advantage.
