JOB TITLE: MULTI-SKILLED ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

LOCATION: DERBYSHIRE / HIGH PEAK / GREATER MANCHESTER BORDER

INDUSTRY: Manufacturing, Printing, Packaging, Labelling, Conversion, Motors & Drives, Pneumatics & Hydraulics, Maintenance

SALARY: Circa £32,000 to £42,000

COMPANY: A well-established, well invested & profitable UK manufacturer with additional European manufacturing facilities at their disposal. They have invested heavily in new equipment and facilities at the company premises and have seen steady growth of year on year for the last 5 years.

THE ROLE: Multi skilled Engineer required to ensure the consistent operation of the mechanical and electrical components of the business, in a safe and efficient manner using preventative and corrective maintenance procedures. Fault diagnosis and machinery repairs, including both electrical and mechanical breakdown repairs and installations. Mechanical and electrical work including DC and AC drives, motors and gearboxes / Pneumatic/ hydraulic repairs. PAT testing site wide.

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE: Experience of working in a manufacturing environment with AC / DC systems. Fully qualified or time-served maintenance engineer. Autonomous and team working. IT literate with excellent communication skills and strong health and safety awareness

HOURS: 08.30 - 17.00 Monday to Friday

START DATE: ASAP

CONTRACT TYPE: Full Time / Permanent
