New Business Development Manager | Flexible & Paper Packaging | South East, UK | £70-80k basic, OTE £100k+
Our client is a leading European manufacturer of flexible packaging solutions, renowned for commitment to sustainability. As a well established leader, they pride themselves on delivering high-quality, customised paper and plastic packaging that meets the diverse needs of clients across various industries. This is a group who are passionate about developing eco-friendly alternatives packaging solutions.
You will be responsible for:
• Driving sales of both paper and plastic packaging solutions, understanding client needs and presenting tailored offerings.
• Specifically targeting key accounts within the retail, industrial, e-commerce, distributor and logistics sectors.
• Identifying new business opportunities across the South East of the UK
• Managing the full sales cycle from lead generation and initial contact through to negotiation and closing deals.
• Collaborating closely with our technical and production teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
Key attributes required:
• Proven track record in new business development from within the packaging sector
• Experience in selling across a diverse range of markets
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to identifying and converting opportunities in the South East.
• Highly organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
