PACKAGING BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - ETHICAL TECH /GRADUATE LEVEL

NORTH EAST / NORTH WEST / WEST MIDS PREFERRED LOCATIONS

Salary £40,000 - £50,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance + 23 days holiday plus bank holidays + Pension

Office and Field based Hybrid role

Our Client is an ethical tech company supporting the packaging industry with highly innovative green dispensing systems. With private equity backing and investment, the business is experiencing rapid growth primarily through having been adopted by major consumer brands globally.

The company are about to transition through an exciting period of growth, with forecasts in place for revenue to double year-on-year over the next 3 years, this will be an excellent opportunity for an individual seeking a hands on, fast-paced, private equity backed SME environment in its infancy.

This position is a brand new role to support the Sales Manager and is ideally suited to a graduate with a background in engineering, chemical, mechanical or similar. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years in a technical sales capacity in manufacturing, industrial or scientific markets and will be driven to succeed and curious to understand how things work.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling technical products to a global client base of clients, including brands, manufacturers, and distributors.

The successful candidate should:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Chemical / Mechanical or similar).
  • Proven experience in technical sales in a manufacturing industry. Minimum 3years.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Be willing to travel as required (domestic and international).
  • Have own valid driver's license.
  • Be able to demonstrate examples of previous value selling.
  • Expect to be based in Northern Offices / Laboratory with flexible option to work from home.
