NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - LUXURY PAPER PACKAGING

NORTH WEST

Salary Guide £45-55K + Company Car / Car Allowance + 20 days holiday - Package / Commission will be tailored to suit the candidate

Our client is a Luxury Packaging Manufacturer who have recently opened a factory in the UK. The company has been established for over 40 years and have manufacturing sites in 4 countries. The group deal with large, prestigious accounts in the retail, whisky, confectionary and gifting markets, supplying their clients with the highest level of bespoke, luxury paper packaging.

Our client is keen to expand their business and is investing in additional staff to help grow the business and take it to the next level. Our client is looking for a New Business Development Manager to join their team. You will build relationships with new clients and create and manage your own portfolio in high end gift packaging.

** This position is 100% new business **

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generating own leads from scratch in line with overall business development strategy.
  • Mapping the target market and developing your patch
  • Selling a broad portfolio of luxury paper packaging solutions to premium brands either directly or indirectly
  • Maximize sales opportunities to achieve monthly sales targets
  • Liaising with internal teams regularly to consult on structural engineering, print specifications, estimating & submitting quotes
  • Management of client requirements
  • Covering the whole of the UK
  • Attending client meetings
  • Attending Trade shows in the UK
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with your clients

Requirements:

  • Previous experience selling luxury Rigid Boxes / Papers / Printed Folding Cartons
  • Located in the North West
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven track record of building new business for a packaging manufacturer
  • You must be able to demonstrate high proficiency in the full sales cycle & maintain a consistently high rate of activity
