NEW BUSINESS SALES MANAGER (NON-MANAGEMENT) - LUXURY PACKAGING

ANY UK LOCATION - HOMEBASED

Salary £Open (Depending on Experience) + Uncapped Commission + Car Allowance + 25 Days Holiday + Pension

Our client is a well-established business who specialise in the design, manufacture and supply of high quality, luxury packaging (paper bags, boxes and accessories) for some of the world's most prestigious brands; the company are part of a large group who own their own manufacturing and converting sites located throughout the world.

Our client is looking for a very qualified, skilled and experienced Sales Manager who can cope well with Luxury Brands, be very self-motivated (working from home) but part of a very unique private enterprise. The successful candidate will be of excellent calibre, a strong new business hunter who knows the luxury packaging market extremely well.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Main responsibility is to lead generate, identify, qualify and grow/create new business opportunities
  • Regularly communicate the project with the customer until the sales order is approved with quantities, lead-times, prices, and all necessary supporting collateral (Sampling etc.)
  • To build and develop strong relationships with all new clients
  • Always to ensure that the margin is within the parameters set and Budgets kept to

Requirements:

  • A flexible and positive attitude towards problem solving
  • Prospect and Product research - investigating and researching the market
  • Listen and explore the client requirements and match against company offering
  • Be excellent at profiling the Buyer for qualifying and managing expectations
  • Clearly communicate back to the Team (Pipeline and Calendar activity)
  • Good Account management skills - be prepared & put effort into the sales process through excellent planning and follow-up
  • Good Computer Skills particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good understanding and knowledge of the following luxury packaging sectors (Fashion, Beauty, Drinks, Jewellery etc.)
  • Languages preferred but not essential
