Lithographic Printer – Night Shift

£37,000 per annum

We are looking for a Lithographic Printer – Night Shift for a manufacturing company based in Southend.

The company is one of the UK’s fastest-growing printers and due to continued expansion, they are now looking for an experienced Lithographic Printer to join the team.

Role Requirements/Responsibilities

  • Ensuring correct job is on the machine
  • To monitor and maintain quality of work produced.
  • Make adjustments to maintain quality and output.
  • To maintain optimum machine output speed.
  • To keep the machine area in good order.
  • To efficiently utilise any machine staff provided for you.
  • To complete all documentation as required by ISO 9001.
  • To pass on all relevant information to subsequent shifts.
  • To report breakdowns or abnormalities immediately.
  • To be fully conversant with all applicable Health & Safety procedures.
  • To leave the machine in a safe and tidy condition.
  • Give coaching and guidance where required.
  • Ensure daily and monthly preventative maintenance is carried out and relative forms are completed.

Hours:

  • The working hours for this role will be 6pm - 6am on a continental shift pattern (36 hours per week).

Skills Required:

  • Ideally having the knowledge of a Heidelberg Speedmaster 75XL 10
  • Able to work to a timely manner and as part of a team.
