Our client is a well established Printed Packaging Manufacturer, part of a global group, who are seeking to appoint an experienced Printer who can consider an entry level Operator position within Flexo Print – with training provided.

They are a 24/7 operation who are offering 3 X 12 Hour Shifts per week: Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday.

In addition to Flexographic Printing, their services include: Lamination, Patterned cold seal, perforation and slitting operations that produce a diverse range of Printed Flexible Packaging for Confectionery, Cheese, Industrial and Postal / Mailing Films.

As a Flexographic Press Operator, you’ll be at the centre of our Client’s production process, ensuring delivery of top-quality printed materials to our customers. Your skills and attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining our reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and run jobs on flexographic press, balancing safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Manage the ink store area, keeping it well-stocked, clean, and organised
  • Record job figures and maintain accurate production records
  • Perform essential machine maintenance and cleaning
  • Work closely with warehouse coordinator and operations manager on material supply
  • Monitor print quality and make adjustments
  • Troubleshoot issues promptly, keeping our production running smoothly
  • Collaborate with team members to continually improve processes
