Role Overview

As a Business Development Manager, you will:

  • Identify and Engage Prospects: Target food and retail businesses, including grocers, restaurants, and high street chains, to introduce our client's tailored consumables and packaging solutions.
  • Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to understand their needs and offer customised solutions.
  • Drive Sales: Achieve sales targets by converting leads into long-term partnerships, focusing on both new business acquisition and existing account growth.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven individual who:

  • Has a proven track record in packaging B2B sales, preferably within the retail or foodservice sectors.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Possesses a strong understanding of the retail and foodservice industries' challenges and opportunities.
  • Is self-motivated and able to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
  • Is based in the UK and willing to travel as needed.
