Press Operator - Labels

About the job

A leading company within the labels industry is on the search for a Press Operator to work on their newly installed machine; slit down plain or printed reels ready for despatch to the customer. Having established long and successful customer relationships, this company works with numerous blue chip companies, so this is a fantastic opportunity to work on some exciting projects.

This role will be responsible for:

• Sourcing paper stock from racking, loading paper stock to press, applying dies where required, monitoring press speed and tension, setting up and operating turret rewind section of the press.
• Boxing and labelling reels for despatch to the customer

To apply for this role, you must currently be in an operating role within the Labels, or Flexo Printing industry.
You must enjoy hands-on work and pay great attention to detail to set up and maintain quality standards. You will take pride in not only your work, but also your working environment, keeping equipment and the area around it clean and uncluttered.
