At the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team, a group of passionate and determined people work to design, develop, manufacture and race the cars driven by seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton and race winner George Russell.

The Team has set a new benchmark for Formula One success during the sport’s current Hybrid era, winning consecutive Drivers’ and Constructors’ World Championships in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020, and the Constructors’ Championship in 2021.

The role:

As a member of our print/production team you will be expected to assist in other areas of the workshop when required and will be provided with training on the relevant machines and processes.

  • You will have graphic design experience in Adobe Illustrator
  • You will use measuring equipment to check your own work and those of others.
  • You will operate plant and equipment and follow safe operating instructions while using the equipment correctly and ensuring it is kept in satisfactory condition.
  • You adhere to Health & Safety management and maintain good working practice and housekeeping.
  • You manage a rapidly changing work schedule and help brainstorm new ideas & techniques.
  • You are prepared to put in extra hours to support staff and meet deadlines when required, as well as traveling abroad should the need arise.

What we are looking for:

  • You can demonstrate experience with all aspects of graphic and print applications including on site installation.
  • You are confident with programmes such as Gerber Omega, Adobe Illustrator, Epson Edge & ONYX Rip centre
  • You have experience using large format printers and digital cutters (Epson Printers, Gerber Edge, Mimaki Cutters & Heated Laminator)
  • You can apply cut vinyl on a range of vehicles, the ability to wrap would be beneficial.
  • You have a full UK driving licence and are confident with driving a van
  • You ideally have a CSCS, IPAF, PASMA card (or have the desire to work toward obtaining these).
  • You have excellent customer service skills.
  • You are reliable, maintain good time keeping and have a strong work ethic. You’re enthusiastic, a good communicator, flexible, well organised and be able to work alone as well as part of a team.
  • You are able to work consistently to a very high standard, by using your own initiative and meeting deadlines.
