This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Print Engineer to work with one of the UK’s largest Print Manufacturing businesses. As a Print Engineer at Augustus Martin your role will ensure the effective operation of the Augustus Martin Fleet of Inkjet Presses overseeing all aspects of repair, maintenance, and innovation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a robust preventative maintenance schedule for all presses
  • Adhere to defined repair SLA’s providing early visibility of service affecting issues
  • Own the technology and service relationship with key suppliers 
  • Provide advice and guidance to the business on service and capability improvements

 

Qualification, Experience, and Skills

  • As a minimum to have served a recognised Apprenticeship/has a BTEC, City & Guilds qualification 
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills, ability to put concise situation reports together
  • Strong electrical bias, good understanding of electrical control systems.
  • Experience working on 415v  3 phase supply’s. 
  • Ability to read electrical/pneumatic diagrams.
  • Ability to work on and understand mechanical systems, e.g., material handling, paper transport etc
