Print Finisher - £27,000 - £29,000 (based on experience)

Based in Redditch, this B2 commercial printer is searching for an experienced print finishing operative to join our finishing team. The Lemon Press Limited is looking to expand our team and bolster our in-house finishing capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of print finishing with particular focus in Stitching, Folding & Guillotine, as we envision these being the main roles for the successful candidate. The successful candidate will be able to adapt effectively and efficiently to dynamic working requirements, utilising experience and their skillset across a range of print finishing machinery to produce and supply high-quality products in a timely manner.

Further knowledge or experience of Heidelberg SBG Cylinder die cutting and creasing operations would be desirable but not a necessity, as training and support will be offered to successful candidates, where needed, to ensure high levels of quality and productivity can be maintained.

Responsibilities:

• The primary responsibilities will be to operate our Heidelberg Stahl Folders and Polar Guillotine.
• You may be called upon to operate our Muller Martini Bravo Plus AMRYS stitching line (Training for the Muller Martini can be supplied if necessary).
• Ensure a clean and efficient work environment is maintained.
• Ensure the quality of products before distribution by performing quality control checks in line with ISO9001 certification and report any issues/non-conformances to the Finishing Manager or Production Director.
• Work promptly to meet deadlines.
