Print Finisher

About the job

We are looking for a skilled Print Finisher to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have experience in guillotining, hot foil stamping, and various print finishing duties, including perforating, punching, folding, spine taping, stapling, stitching, collating, and sheeting. Knowledge of digital and lithographic printing is beneficial but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate guillotine machines to cut printed materials accurately.
• Perform hot foil stamping to achieve high-quality finishes.
• Carry out various finishing tasks, such as perforating, punching, folding, spine taping, stapling, stitching, collating, and sheeting.
• Ensure all work meets quality control standards.
• Maintain and set up finishing equipment for optimal performance.
• Work efficiently to meet production deadlines.
• Assist with digital and lithographic printing tasks if required.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in print finishing is essential.
• Ability to operate guillotine, hot foil stamping, and other finishing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.

Full time 37.5 hours – shift work required – 0600 to 1330 Monday to Friday then 1315 to 2230 Monday to Thursday – rolling AM and PM working week schedule
