Here at Go Inspire Eclipse we have 3 fantastic opportunities for fully trained Lithographic printers to join our exciting team based here at Kettering. We currently operate 2 Manroland Goss M600 web presses and 2 Heidelberg XL106 sheetfed presses. All presses have closed loop colour systems, automatic blanket washing, web/ribbon control etc up to state-of-the-art quality control systems.

We are part of the Go Inspire Group based in Leicester and Kettering, celebrating our 30^th Year within the print sector. Our client base includes blue chip companies like Avon, Saga, Papa Johns & MSF to name a few. Eclipse is a very progressive well driven business looking to increase productivity and efficiencies across all our assets whether by improved systems or embracing new technology.

All our print positions currently work a 36-hour week based around 3 x 12-hour shifts. Depending on the position these may be on a rotating days and nights pattern (as worked within the print industry) or may be either permanent days or nights. For this work you will receive a very competitive salary along with 17 days annual holiday plus all bank holidays.

Duties of a Printer may include:

• Work a flexible 36-hour weekly shift pattern and be available to cover printers’ holidays, sickness and any other absences that may occur
• Control Manufacturing performance and hit set targets.
• Work within a team on shifts to produce high quality commercial print.
• Control the housekeeping and maintenance on press/shift.
• Achieve all quality standards to ISO accreditations standards.
• Ensure that all crew members follow SSOW’s for all equipment. (H&S)
• Ensure all waste is segregated for correct disposal (Environmental & Security)
• Achieve a consistent high level of print quality throughout the production run & conduct quality control procedures.

You will be working with fast moving equipment so safe adequate protective footwear and workwear is supplied and should be always worn too.

Additional Printer skills and knowledge held:

• Lithographic printing experience (minimum of 3 years)
• Experience of direct mail an advantage
• Flexible and pro-active approach with the ability to work well within a team and to tight deadlines
• Have a high level of attention to detail
