PRODUCTION EXECUTIVE KENT

£ Open Depending on Experience + Overtime at Time ½ + Pension + Death in Service + 25 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays


Our client is a leading large format graphics and display company based in Kent. They are looking for an enthusiastic, Production Executive to join their ever-expanding team and workload in their Events and Exhibition build team, producing large scale projects and builds for various client sectors including commercial interiors, high street retailers, exhibitions, experiential events, and roadshows.

Responsibilities:

  • Attending daily meetings.
  • Working with senior production team to complete internal systems with project build requirements, planning and scheduling along with completing any requirements and planner spreadsheets.
  • Transpose all scheduling and update requirements on to planning board, and job planning board.
  • Liaise with account teams on project requirements, timeframes and communication to ensure that the build and operations teams have the correct items, sign offs of designs or sourced products to meet project deadlines.
  • Creating POs for production purchasing.
  • Collating and logging of production expenses.
  • Project filing physical and digitally.
  • Product and item stock checks.
  • Booking ferries/flights/hotels for projects which require UK, European and international travel.
  • Looking after congestion charges and Crossings.
  • Assisting pre-production team with project planning, including travel times, hire vehicles, plant equipment and sourcing and booking of install crews.
  • Liaise with key suppliers, and sourcing new suppliers and requirements as and when needed.
  • Attending on site installations and project builds to gain insight in to build and client requirements.


Requirements:

  • Excellent timekeeping and good communication skills.
  • Organised and ability to work on your own initiative and under pressure.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Flexibility to adapt to new systems and processes along with developing your own.
  • Keen to learn with a can-do attitude.
  • Communication skills verbal and written at all levels of the business.


Hours:

  • Shift pattern is based on a weekly rotating pattern early or late (early starts at around 07:00, and lates start at 13:30pm which alternate this each week, std hours are a 7.5 hr day.)
  • Flexible contract where hours flex up and down depending on the time of the year to fit with demand levels, meaning that in the summer the 7.5hrs moves to a max of 8.5 hrs per day but then drops to minimum 6 hr days in the winter. Pay level is always based on 7.5 hrs a day.
