About the job

The role of Production manager is to achieve “Right First Time” event builds that are within budget & adhere to all required Health & Safety guidelines and procedures across the full variety of clients and markets with a specific focus on live Events large and small. You will work closely with, project managers, operations manager, other skilled carpenters, project managers and operations teams to ensure all projects and live build Installations are delivered and all requirements and needs of the client are met and exceeded. 

As Production manager you will provide comprehensive support and leadership on projects and tasks with day to day job requirements such as :- 

• Attending daily production meetings 

• Working with project managers to create build schedules and develop build and event ideas 

• Updating internal MIS system with workloads and tasks for the wider team to ensure projects deliver on time. Training provided. 

• Practicable build, construction and site project management experience 

• Ability to liaise with clients as well as co-ordinate various tradesmen onsite 

• Event and Exhibition build, Festivals, Roadshows and management experience 

• Creation of build drawings for projects that can be shared with the wider team for build purposes 

• Working knowledge of drawings and planning processes within a busy production environment Event and Exhibitions Production Manager 

 EXPERIENCE YOU NEED 

• Excellent timekeeping and good communication skills 

• Comfortable with manual lifting and working at heights 

• CAD understanding ideally preferred 

• Carpentry/joinery skills and experience. 

• Knowledge of electrical LED lighting systems and AV would be beneficial 

• Excellent ability to project manage, problem solve, work to deadlines with fantastic organisation skills. 

• Able to multi-task and prioritise, you will be working across a number of activities with tight deadlines. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

• Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office suite. 

• Ability to liaise with clients as well as co-ordinate various tradesmen onsite 

• Effective time management skills with the ability to work to multiple deadlines 

• Health and Safety trained to delivery during and post installation on client’s sites - CSCS and IPAF desirable 

• Clean driving licence - essential
