Hours of Working: Days - 40 hours per week

Our client is an independent corrugated packaging manufacturer based in the South West with an outstanding reputation in the industry, they specialise in bespoke corrugated packaging solutions and are heavily focused on the E-Commerce and Online Retail market sector.

They are currently looking to recruit a Production Planner to be in charge of production planning, dispatch, stock management etc. Our client is looking for a candidate to be in control of the planning and fulfilment aspects of production (arranging for raw materials, ensuring goods delivered, and ensuring the warehouse operates effectively to fulfil these tasks).

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating all planning aspects to support the customers' short and long term requirements, whilst maximising internal production efficiencies.
• Understanding and reporting on capacity planning issues and forward load requirements
• Building excellent rapport with internal customers
• Coordinating and communicating with internal staff
• Develops a production schedule detailing all tasks and when they should be completed by to meet predicted completion date
• Monitors project's progress to ensure it's following the schedule
• Troubleshoots problems that occur during production, including staff shortages and machinery malfunctions
