PRODUCTION / PRINTING MACHINE OPERATOR

COUNTY ARMAGH, NORTHERN IRELAND

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Our client is a leading provider in the packaging sector, known for commitment to quality and innovation. They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production/Printing Machine Operator to join their dynamic team.

Job Description:

As a Production/Printing Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various production and printing machines, including slitting machines, pallet wrapping machines, and a flexographic printing press. You will work closely with the production team to meet daily targets and uphold the high standards of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor slitting machines, pallet wrapping machines, and a flexo printing press to ensure optimal performance.
  • Set up machines according to specifications and instructions.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to minimise downtime.
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards through regular inspections.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
  • Keep accurate records of production activities and machine performance.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in operating slitting machines, pallet wrapping machines, and flexographic printing is beneficial.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
