We are working with a leading company in its sector which has a presence across the entire globe. A change in ownership has sparked a total rebrand, which is where you come in to place.

The primary purpose of this senior project management role is to lead and drive projects forward through the Innovation Stage & Gate Commercialisation Process. You will work to:
  1. Define new Stage & Gate documentation and process with the support of internal cross functions (Global Marketing, Local Markets, R&D, Sales, Supply Chain, 3rd Party Suppliers and Finance), to ensure the effective introduction of EPD and NPD across International markets
  2. Work with R&D and Marketing team project managers to ensure documentation for each project stage is submitted on time to monthly meetings for the approval of the leadership and cross functional team
  3. Track/monitor the team resourcing levels (People + Costs) & risk/confidence levels on projects while effectively measuring the output from initiative set (e.g. Future Pipeline Sizing / KPI set)
  4. Hold people to account for what they have said they would deliver in a fair and transparent way
  5. Portfolio management and prioritisation
The skills / experience required for this role:

Experienced in using IT tools to enable effective and efficient project management delivery, to support our client’s Commercialisation growth strategy,

o Experienced in applying new project management tools and practices successfully

o Able to design and implement process improvements successfully, securing support and resources as required

o Able to understand strategic priorities and link them effectively to project prioritisation and execution

o Results focused.

o Builds credibility, positive working relationships and has the ability to influence stakeholders and team members at all levels to deliver projects effectively

o Leads cross functional teams effectively, communicating objectives, priorities, progress and issues clearly

o Motivates and engages others through positive attitude, presence and a confident, approachable demeanour

Global experience, consumer marketing background and supplier/consulting/agency side experiences are all pluses.

o Understanding of third party and far east supply would be beneficial

o Experience in Product Development and Product Lifecycle management

Must possess excellent oral, written communication & influencing skills and a proven ability to build collaborative partnerships.

o Effective listening skills, as well as flexibility, a strong work ethic, and being a strategic thinker are valued assets.

o Can handle a heavy workload with competing priorities.

Ideally a University degree holder in a relevant discipline

Professional qualification in project management and, ideally, change management
