As Quality/Technical Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Applying proven Quality management leadership experience within highly regulated environments
  • Working in both an internal and external facing role, liaising with customers and supply chain
  • Working across internal teams managing performance and compliance
  • Contributing to sustainability processes, working with suppliers, evaluating ESG and emissions, reporting internally, helping the business achieve internal targets of neutrality
  • Implementing and reviewing processes to deliver company, customer, and regulatory authority requirements for food safety, product quality, and cost

 

Key attributes required:

  • Essential experience working in a comparable role within the glass/closures packaging industry
  • Quality program development experience desirable but not essential, including knowledge of audits and standards; BRC / ISO / ISF / HACCP
  • Knowledge of problem-solving techniques, reporting and desirable experience of lean practices
  • Relationship builder – able to forge strong relationships with the team and external stakeholders
  • The ability to inspire as Quality Champion, applying high technical knowledge and the skills to deal with any non conformance or process improvement
