Our Client is a rapidly growing SAAS company providing a number of professional services in Labelling and Artwork Management Solutions to assist clients in heavily regulated industries.

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, The Saas Senior Sales BDM is responsible for following up and creating new sales leads and generate new business. This role is focused on selling the whole range of Company products into Medical Devices, Life Sciences, Pharma, Chemical, Cosmetics and Oil and Lubricant organisations globally, including generating leads, managing an opportunity pipeline and converting sales.

The role requires a strong knowledge of the market and solution (for which training will be given). The role will be supported by a Pre Sales-Technical Team.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads and win new business. This includes;
  • Building strong commercial relationships with prospects.
  • Understanding the potential of prospects and prioritising efforts accordingly.
  • Understanding client requirements at both a strategic and tactical level to be able to offer the best solutions.
  • To utilise the internal resources of technical specialists to support the consultation and sales process.
  • To travel as necessary across the UK and Internationally.
  • Achieve and overachieve on personal KPIs and sales targets.
  • To ensure personal KPIs and targets are achieved for new business wins.
  • Introduce corrective activities / new initiatives for any under achievement.
  • Pipeline management.
  • Financial management.
  • Keeping up to date on the landscape, competitors' positioning / messaging, and market intelligence.
  • Build commercial relationships with key partners as relevant.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all communications deliverables.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate clearly and passionately both verbally and in writing.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven track record in selling SAAS Software and Services new business sales in the labelling and artwork management / packaging industry.
  • Can demonstrate track record of achieving new business sales targets, along with being target and goal orientated.
  • Consultative and able to offer solutions through technology.
  • Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to network within the client base.
  • Numerate and commercially astute.
  • Professional in attitude, conduct and appearance.
  • Formally sales trained (desirable).
  • Preferred knowledge of packaging, labelling, artwork management space.
