SALES COORDINATOR - PRINT / PACKAGING

£Open depending on experience + 23 Days Holiday + Pension

Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm (30 mins lunch) early finish at 2pm once a week

Our client is a successful business with significant experience in the printed packaging industry. An award-winning investor in cutting edge technologies with extensive in-house printing capabilities and a progressive approach to market activities.

They are currently looking to recruit a Sales Co-ordinator to join their successful team. The main purpose of the role is to support Sales Management co-ordination of Customer accounts together with general administrative assistance whilst also managing and developing a small portfolio of Customer accounts. This role is office based but requires a full UK Driving License and necessitates occasional travel.

Responsibilities:

  • To support Sales Management with processing quotes and orders.
  • Complete administrative tasks to support Sales Management, including reporting, pricing matrix administration and campaign management.
  • To manage a portfolio of key accounts, developing the business relationship with each customer to identify new business opportunities within each account in order to maximise sales and profitability.
  • Responsible for monitoring customer's orders and their progress, promptly resolving customer issues or problems as they arise and keep them informed.
  • To monitor service standards, liaising with customer and the Production Manager to ensure each account is effectively serviced and the Company is able to meet their requirements in a cost effective and timely manner.
  • To achieve agreed sales targets, actively monitor performance and KPIs, identify factors impacting on sales and take action to resolve.
  • To offer a high standard of customer service to both internal and external customers, by demonstrating a professional, helpful, and positive manner, providing accurate information to internal operations staff in order that all orders and related administration can be completed efficiently.
  • To ensure that all activities operate within company policies and procedures and to demonstrate a commitment to these through their own working practices.
  • To develop and maintain effective business relationships with customers and build effective working relationships with colleagues throughout the Company.
  • To maintain the sales internal quoting, processing, and CRM systems to ensure that all correspondence, documentation, records and systems relating to each account are accurate, kept up to date and filing systems are well organised.
  • To comply with the Health and Safety statement and the ISO procedures in all areas of responsibility.
  • To carry out such other duties as are within the scope and spirit of the job purpose and level of responsibility and offer support to other areas of the Company when required.

Skills and abilities:

  • A proven track record of account management or experience in an internal sales team, delivering sales against agreed targets.
  • Using and maintaining management information systems, databases, and customer relationship systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner.
  • Customer focused, with excellent client liaison skills.
  • Well organised, with the ability to effectively manage own time, prioritise work and focus on key tasks.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Able to work on own initiative to achieve targets.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of people.
