A medium sized but highly successful printer is looking to expand into new markets as part of future growth plans. This highly regarded company which has experienced many years of lucrative trading requires a Sales Director to lead their team of sales professionals with the objective of growing revenue across all service offerings, both existing and new. This role requires someone who is experienced and successful in developing actionable sales plans based on the ability to assess current and future market opportunities, identify client trends, evaluate company capabilities against market demands, and manage sales team to maximise capacity and profit.

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Sales Strategy Execution:

Develop short and long-term sales budget and forecasts, including reporting on daily, weekly and monthly progress, planning and executing activities to meet or exceed company objectives. Identify and pursue opportunities to sell the full range of product offerings to existing and new customers. Prepare and present reports on a regular basis. 

 

  • Sales Pipeline Management:

Monitor and continuously improve the Sales Pipeline, working closely with Production & Account Management to constantly improve the capturing and management of new opportunities. Push opportunities forward and develop a deep understanding of the win or loss of opportunities, reporting results back to the business.

 

  • Key Account Management:

Foster strong relationships with current and new customers, addressing their needs and concerns, ensuring the company is seen as a solutions provider of value-added printed products and services. 

 

  • Team leadership:

Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and performance.

 

  • Performance Metrics:

Develop and monitor key performance indicators to assess sales team effectiveness. Provide regular reports and insights on sales performance to senior leadership.
