SALES MANAGER / SALES DIRECTOR NORTH EAST ENGLAND

Salary £60-80K DOE + OTE Circa £100K + Benefits Package

Our client is a profitable, independently owned manufacturing company in the print and packaging sector, serving some of the largest companies in Great Britain. They are seeking a Senior Sales Manager in an office-based role to lead both the internal and external sales teams and to be instrumental in development and growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support internal teams while developing strategies for business growth.
  • Lead recruitment and expansion of the external sales team.
  • Take commercial responsibility for sales team budgets and performance.
  • Drive key business goals as part of a five-year plan to triple the company turnover.
  • Collaborate closely with the Managing Director and senior management on overall business planning.

Opportunities:

  • This role is integral to the company's long-term growth, with a clear path for promotion to Sales Director upon achieving initial objectives.
  • Share options are available as part of the five-year growth plan.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven track record in people management, with strong commercial awareness.
  • Ability to build relationships and capitalise on business opportunities.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to prioritise in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience in the print and packaging industry is a plus, though full product training will be provided.
