SALES MANAGER - SIGNAGE (ANY BACKGROUND CONSIDERED)

Our client is an award-winning signage company who have been established for over 35 years. They design, manufacture and install various signage solutions to their clients across the UK.


They are currently recruiting for the role of a Sales Manager. The successful candidate will be based 50% from the office and 50% home working / visiting client, generating leads, dealing with enquiries and client visits.


The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in signage although the client will consider any previous sales experience.


Responsibilities / Requirements:

  • Increasing sales opportunities and thereby maximising revenue for the company by finding potential new customers
  • Prospect for potential new clients and new markets
  • Actively manage the sales process, lead generation, clarifying requirements and budget
  • Managing and maintaining a sales pipeline
  • Responding to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner
  • Build relationships with new clients
  • Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, products and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
  • Previous experience within the signage industry and familiar with all aspects of architectural signage
  • Ability to understand all phases of sales development, from prospecting to proposal development, negotiation and closing deals and account management
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic individual
  • Quickly prioritise jobs under pressure and anticipate the changing needs of customers
  • Outgoing, friendly, and exceptional at building rapport
  • Strong client management skills
  • Problem solving skills with ability to generate ideas and solutions
  • Positive and determined approach to researching and analysing new business opportunities
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Capable of working independently
