Senior Business Development Manager | Cartons | UK | £70k - £90k plus commission 

 

A world leading packaging manufacturer offering a wide range of packaging products, including printed folded cartons, pouches, bags, films, and laminates. Providing innovative and sustainable packaging options that cater to the needs of their customers, they are known for their commitment to advanced technology, quality, and environmentally friendly packaging solutions.

 

As Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving new business growth with major blue chip accounts in the food service industry
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders as well as external clients, attending and presenting at client meetings
  • Project management and new product development
  • Providing an excellent level of customer service, building strong relationships with key decision makers
  • Forecasting and reporting

 

Key attributes required:

  • Essential experience in the packaging sector, cartons ideally
  • An understanding of the food service and food to go market is desirable, including its challenges and opportunities
  • Proven track record of business growth managing multi-million pound portfolios
  • Ability to travel to meet existing and prospective clients
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
