As Senior Packaging Technologist, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring that packaging products meet set requirements and specifications
• Producing samples to try out different materials and packaging characteristics 
• Liaising with marketing, purchasing and production staff
• Controlling production and quality standards, including reporting and investigating  packaging that doesn’t meet these standards
• Running trials to check packaging for suitability and testing for performance to meet customer performance requirements

Key attributes required:

• A Diploma in Packaging Technology is essential and a degree in an FMCG related subject desirable
• At least 5 years experience in a packaging related role 
• Exceptionally organised and excellent co-ordination and prioritisation skills
• Ability  to work autonomously with minimal supervision, be pro-active and take initiative
• Very strong organisational skills – organised, flexible, dependable, detail orientated
