Exciting opportunity to join an ambitious team of creative Structural Designers consistently designing high quality and market leading temporary point of sale solutions.  Work with a portfolio of some of the most renowned retailers in the UK and provide them with innovative POS and instore displays at a high quality and speedy turnaround.  

Senior Structural Designer | POS | East Midlands | £35k - £45k depending on experience

As a market leader within the POS sector, this is a business renowned for innovation within retail marketing and POS and with an outstanding reputation for excellence in customer service. This organisation has a lucrative portfolio of global brands in the retail and FMCG sectors. In addition, they also offer extensive in-house facilities for design, creative, production of 2D and 3D POS plus in-store analysis.

As Senior Structural Designer you will be responsible for:

• Client facing taking briefs and presenting new design solutions
• Producing structural designs from concept for large brands
• Creating samples and visuals when required
• Reviewing briefs and required print process and materials as necessary to ensure the brief is answered accurately and successfully 
• Working closely with the entire structural design team to ensure all work is delivered on time and to the highest possible standard
• Liaising directly with external sub-contractors and suppliers
• Quality control

Key attributes required:

• A comprehensive understanding of CAD based software, desirably Kasemake but not essential
• Excellent knowledge of print production methods and materials and their project suitably  
• Appropriate experience at a Senior Structural Designer level 
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team are essential
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
