SIGN INSTALLER / FABRICATOR

Our client is a well-established sign company based in Lancashire. They provide a wide range of design, building and installation of signage to a specialist and thriving market sector across the whole of the UK.
Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Sign Installer / Fabricator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation of signs, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Knowledge of fabrication would be a distinct advantage although not essential, the role will split approx. 70% Installation / 30% Fabrication but training can be provided on the fabrication side.

Responsibilities / Requirements:

Sign Installation:

• Install signs at various locations, ensuring secure and precise placement.
• Work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, or lifts as required.
• Install electrical components for illuminated signs, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on installed signs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to sign installation and functionality.

Sign Fabrication:

• Utilize various materials such as metal, acrylic, vinyl, and wood to fabricate custom signs.
• Operate machinery including CNC routers, laser cutters, and printing equipment.
• Apply finishing touches such as painting, sanding, and assembly.
