Our client are experienced sign makers based in South Wales who provide a one-stop shop for all your printing and signage needs with their signs printing services. With their dedication, renowned customer service and quality work. They are looking to recruit a Sign Installer / Fitter to join their production and install team.
As part of this role the post holder will need to work with the team to help them deliver on set targets and work to tight deadlines. The role would see the post holder travelling locally and all across the country in a company vehicle visiting a wide range of sites. The perfect candidate suited to this role would be self-motivated and enjoy helping others.
This job would suit an individual who is hard working with a positive "can do" attitude. You will be able to remain calm under pressure and produce consistently high-quality work. A keen eye for detail and the ability to multi-task, communicate effectively and pleasantly with customers, suppliers, co-workers and management.

Responsibilities:

• Staying away will be required on the odd occasion.
• Supervise large projects to ensure they are delivered on-time and to standard, whilst maintaining the highest level of health and safety.
• Report to Head of Operations with daily install updates, attending meetings where necessary.
• Communicate goals and deadlines to the install teams, planning workloads and delegate daily tasks.
• Ensure accurate job briefs are prepared for install team.
• Ensure that health, safety, and environmental requirements are adhered to.
• Interact with customers in a professional, courteous manner and be prepared to offer solutions to problems.
• Ensure the use and maintenance of all tools & equipment comply with safe and efficient performance.
• Ensure that all PPE health and safety work wear is always worn.
• Prepare, manufacture, maintain and install signage, vehicle graphics, interior and exterior signs, illuminated signage, shop fascia's and all other display and sign products
• Maintain professional standards by attending training courses and workshops as required.
• Apply vehicle graphics and vinyl wraps to all types of commercial and private vehicles in accordance with customer requirements.
• Oversee and ensure all signage is completed on time, to a quality standard consistent with the company's vision.
• Monitor stock levels & inform line manager of any required stock and equipment ready for installation.
• Rectify and report issues identified within install to ensure successful completion of the task.
• Communicate between the departments within the company to ensure the smooth running of operations
• Travel as required on company business.
• Co-operate with other members of staff as required in a positive, helpful, and friendly manner, taking care to ensure that the best use is made of company time and resources in resolving the needs of the business and its workforce.
• Carry out other duties as may reasonably be required and assigned by the business.

Requirements:

• Experience in Signage / Vinyl application: 2 years (required)
• Driving Licence (required)
• First Aid Trained, IPAF Trained and PASMA Trained is desired
• Self-disciplined, with a 'can do' mentality and take pride in their work
• Reliable and organised
• Good communicator, both written and verbal
• A problem solver and likes challenges
• Comfortable working at height and off busy roads
• Content with travelling from city to city
• Strong health and safety awareness
• Flexible
