Structural Designer | Cartons | Nottinghamshire | Up to £50k

Specialising in producing innovative folding carton packaging for a diverse range of industries and brands worldwide. Their product portfolio encompasses packaging solutions for sectors such as food and drink textiles, confectionery, toiletries, household items. Operating from multiple global sites, recent investments, such as the acquisition of advanced printing and die-cutting equipment, demonstrates their commitment to enhancing production capacity and efficiency. With a focus on innovation and quality, the group continues to serve major supermarkets and brands, providing tailored packaging solutions that meet the evolving needs of their diverse clientele.

As Structural Designer you will be responsible for:

• Processing customer briefs or briefs from account managers
• Producing new design solutions for carton packaging
• Testing packaging specifications on demand and providing associated written report to stakeholders
• Generating production samples using CAD and Adobe software

Key attributes required:

• Proven experience of Artios CAD or similar programme required
• Exposure producing samples and prototypes
• Good time management skills, ability to manage multiple projects
• Packaging industry experience ideally corrugated packaging
• An appreciation for detail and sustainability focus integrating sustainable practices into every aspect of the design process
