ARTWORKER / PRODUCTION OPERATOR

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE

Up to £28K + Overtime

Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm / Monday - Friday

Our client is a sign and large format digital company based in the South East. They are currently looking to recruit an Artworker / Production Operator to work within their successful Signage team. This role is approximately 70% Art working and 30% Production.

Key responsibilities:

  • Interpret briefs
  • Work creatively within brand guidelines for a variety of different clients across different sectors.
  • Produce artwork to a professional technical standard and prepare production/print ready files for various media and output types.
  • The role requires a team player that can develop a good working relationship with other members of the team.
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to communicate confidently with clients and other areas of the business.
  • Help out in production when needed - HP 360 Latex, HP R1000, Roll to Roll Printers, CNC Routers, Laminators etc.
  • This Artworker role is an excellent opportunity for a person to improve and expand on their current artwork skills. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales team and client base to build professional relationships and support our client in providing quality signage.

Skills Required:

  • Artworker experience, able to work to tight deadlines in a busy sign company
  • A minimum of one years' artworker experience working with the latest creative software packages
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good MS Office skills, Excel, Signlab, Adobe creative suite
  • An understanding of current colour management techniques
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple jobs
  • Creatively aware in terms of graphical and typographic layout
  • Thorough understanding and ability to interpret a client brief
  • Able to work independently as well as be a team player
