As Technical Manager, you will oversee and guide the company’s technical and compliance functions. You will lead a dedicated team to uphold high standards of quality and service while supporting the business with your expertise in both technical matters and compliance processes. A leading global manufacturer of self-adhesive materials, labelling machines, and adhesive products. Producing and supplying high-quality self-adhesive paper and film laminates, which are commonly used for pressure-sensitive labels in various industries. Their products are known for being used in applications such as packaging, labelling, and other sectors where durable, high-performance labels are required.

As Technical Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Leading and managing the Technical & Compliance team
• Track and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and departmental performance
• Being a technical expert, providing support to customers, end-users, and internal teams
• Addressing and resolve technical and compliance queries and issues on a daily basis
• Overseeing compliance systems, ensuring all certifications (such as ISO and BRCGS) are upheld

Key attributes required:

• The ability to recommend improvements to compliance and quality systems
• Understanding of the chemistry of self adhesive or coming from a labels/print adhesive background
• Understanding of BRGS/ISO and FSC standards
• Strength at presenting and advising the sales team on products
• Confidence to train team members, customers & end-users on products and technical knowledge
