Hours: 8am till 5pm - 5 days a week

Our client is a well-established provider of packaging materials and bespoke packaging solutions. They supply a wide range of packaging including tapes, polythene bags, strapping, janitorial products, fitments, cartons, void fill products, pallet wraps, films, bubble wrap and foam products.

They are currently looking for a Technical Estimator to join their team. You will provide detailed, bespoke product solutions, costings and prototypes in support of the sales team winning deals. To create these solutions, you will work with the designer and technical director.

For this role you will get a lot of in-house training, on the job training and support with good progression opportunities

Key Responsibilities:

• Working within the technical team to assist with the design of bespoke packaging concepts and products for customers
• Creating product specifications and work with suppliers to obtain accurate costings
• Specifying customers products from samples and obtain costings
• Gaining an in-depth knowledge of corrugated products and their components
• Supporting the sales team with the above knowledge and use it to help them win deals
• Keeping the workflow, CRM up to date and accurate for efficient working with other teams
• Assisting the sales team with generating quote and samples requests
• Managing and organising of the quoting / sampling workflow so that SLAs are achieved
• Able to work under pressure to achieve strict SLAs and deadlines, with many projects on the go at once
• Ability to help out with CAD as required
