Technical Packaging Engineer | Packaging Manufacturer | Northamptonshire | £32k - £35k plus bonus and Company Car

As Technical Packaging Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Liaising with customers, account managers or other stakeholders on best fit packaging solutions
• Generating production samples using AG CAD software
• Generating innovative designs maximising direct/indirect savings
• Managing multiple projects from clients, working to required deadlines
• Carry out testing of proposed solutions to ensure fit for purpose status

Key attributes required:

• Proficiency in packaging design from concept utilising CAD
• Experience designing onto corrugated products
• The ability to achieve customer savings through reengineering and/or establishing new ideas
• Project management experience
• Strong communication skills and good working relationships with all internal and external teams
• Able to test packaging specifications and compile associated written reports
