We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team. The Warehouse operative must be experienced in handling receipt of raw materials and preparing for despatch of goods . They must be able to work accurately and keep calm under pressure within a busy environment.

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years experience working in a warehouse environment. Typical tasks will include receipt of raw materials, preparing finished goods for dispatch, loading and unloading of vehicles. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will work with the Warehouse team to meet daily schedules and targets.

 

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Receive goods and check into the warehouse systems accurately
  • Assist in loading and unloading of vehicles
  • Ensure the warehouse and yard are always kept clean and tidy.
  • Efficient and safe use of mechanical handling equipment, counterbalance / reach / narrow aisle trucks.
  • Completing stock management tasks using a handheld warehouse management device.
  • Place goods correctly into storage bays. Ensure that stock is stored to allow safe storage, retrieval and handling.
  • Pick finished goods accurately and efficiently from stock
  • Prepare finished goods for dispatch suitable for handling on overnight networks.
  • Ensuring that dispatches required are made accurately and on time.
  • Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment.

 

Candidate requirements for the role:

  • Ability to work within deadlines in a very fast paced environment and cope under pressure
  • Good Computer literacy
  • Good understanding of supply chain procedures
  • Counterbalance / Reach FLT license and Safe Lifting Training.
  • Previous experience within a print manufacturing site would be ideal
