Hours: Continental Shifts 3X 12 Hour Shifts on a 4 week rotation (No Saturdays)

My client is a high-quality manufacturer of printed and plain, flexible packaging films and laminates, suitable for a variety of applications and products. Our client operates a fast-paced work environment with high standards.

They currently have vacancies for the right person to join their growing team as a Flexographic Printer. The role provides an excellent opportunity for the right candidate and is ideal for a driven, enthusiastic individual with experience on a Print Press Machine, who is friendly, approachable, and flexible.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You must be able to work on your own initiative, be able to work with others and be a team player
• The job is a fast-paced role; therefore, you must be able to work under pressure and be able to make on the spot decisions, be organised and calm
• A full aptitude for learning is a must
• To know how to set up and operate a variety of colour printing and ancillary equipment, reduce set up times, change over times, and downtimes - ensuring machinery is set up and ran at maximum output
• Running the press machines and highlighting any issues/problems
• Performs appropriate functional quality tests for operations performed on all equipment
• To produce printed products to the highest of standards
• Consistently achieve productivity targets
• Ensure all work is produced using specific materials and equipment taking responsibility for allocation, issue, and return of raw material
• Good time management skills
• Good eye for detail and quality conscious - maintaining optimum quality at all times
• To be enthusiastic with your daily duties
