It is a physical role involving mixing ink, colour matching, technical problem solving and supplying finished ink as per customer specifications. There is also work with IT systems including IMS and X-Rite, ensuring that the stock of inks and bases is consistent with the needs of the customer’s production, manufacturing ink on site, providing reports to the customer with respect to ink consumption and providing 24 hour cover to the customer’s plant to address any ink related issue.
